Godzilla vs Spider

A new illustration of Godzilla, blending design aspects from the 1998 American movie, and Godzilla: The animated series. To help capture the monster brawls of the animated series I depicted Godzilla here defeating a giant spider opponent. 

I recently went back in and added a sky background and added additional digital shading to the original pencil shading to make the monster more three-dimensional.

This illustration combines the modern design of Godzilla with the charm and spirit of classic Japanese films, bringing to life an exciting clash of titans in the depths of the ocean. The Artwork Description In this pencil drawing, which I later scanned and digitally colored, Godzilla takes center stage as he grapples with a colossal octopus lurking beneath the ocean's surface.
