Introduction:

World UFO Day is an annual event that brings together UFO enthusiasts from around the world to celebrate and discuss the existence of unidentified flying objects. Since its inception in 2001, it has become a platform for sharing stories, evidence, and experiences related to UFO encounters. As a passionate artist and believer in the possibilities beyond our world, I couldn't resist creating a new illustration in honor of this special day.

The Significance of World UFO Day:

World UFO Day, organized by WorldUFODay.com, serves as a gathering point for UFO enthusiasts to showcase their research, share theories, and engage in discussions about the existence of extraterrestrial life. It is an opportunity to promote open-mindedness, curiosity, and the exploration of the unknown.

How People Celebrate:

On this day, people come together to celebrate World UFO Day in various ways. Some organize gatherings where enthusiasts can swap stories, share evidence, and discuss the latest UFO-related developments. Others choose to spend the evening under the stars, observing the night sky in the hopes of spotting unidentified objects. Many also indulge in classic science fiction movies like "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" or binge-watch episodes of "The X-Files" to immerse themselves in the world of extraterrestrial mysteries.

About My Illustration:

In my latest artwork, created specifically for World UFO Day, I wanted to capture the essence of mystery and power associated with UFO sightings while infusing a touch of humor. The illustration presents a scene where a flying saucer hovers above a field, illuminated by a soft, otherworldly glow. Looking up, we witness a confused cow being lifted into the night sky by a green beam of light emanating from the UFO.

The composition aims to evoke a sense of wonder and intrigue, showcasing the enigmatic nature of UFO encounters. The flying saucer, with its sleek design and unidentified origin, represents the unknown possibilities that exist beyond our understanding. Meanwhile, the cow's bewildered expression adds a lighthearted touch, reminding us that the UFO phenomenon can be both awe-inspiring and amusing.

Conclusion:

As World UFO Day approaches, I encourage you to embrace curiosity and open-mindedness regarding the mysteries of the universe. Whether you're a long-time believer, a skeptic, or simply someone intrigued by the idea of extraterrestrial life, this day offers an opportunity to engage with others who share a similar passion. Through my artwork, I hope to contribute to the celebration of World UFO Day and inspire a sense of wonder about the possibilities that lie beyond our planet.

So, gather with fellow enthusiasts, keep an eye on the night sky, and let your imagination soar as we commemorate World UFO Day together. Happy World UFO Day, and may the truth be out there!

Godzilla vs Sea Serpent

New art of King of the Monsters, Godzilla, the legendary reptilian star of Japanese studio, Toho. Updated 3/30/2023 This illustration depicts a colossal snake that arose from the depths of Lake Michigan and does battle with Godzilla in front of the Chicago skyline. The scene was based on the new composition "Godzilla in Chicago" by Michiru Oshima.  I had free range to choose which of the many versions of Godzilla I used, so I went with the GMK design, from the movie, Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack. A bit of a mouth full to say, but great flick with awesome creature designs, and an absolutely vicious take on Godzilla. The Sea Serpent was a brand new creature created for the music with no established design. For inspiration, I looked at real-life animals like the anaconda, which spends a lot of its time in the water, the moray eel, and a sunfish for its spikey fins. Work in progress for a new commission I'm working on. Sketch...

Godzilla Sketch

New Illustration by Chris Trefz of Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack - A Legendary Clash of Titans. Sketch of Godzilla from "Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack". Introduction: In the realm of kaiju films, where colossal creatures clash in epic battles, there is one standout entry that has left an indelible mark on the genre for me: "Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack." Released in 2001, this film, produced by Toho Studios and directed and co-written by Shusuke Kaneko, captivated audiences with its thrilling plot, awe-inspiring monster battles, and a fresh portrayal of Godzilla as a formidable and villainous force. Accompanying this cinematic masterpiece is my own black-and-white marker drawing that aims to portray the malevolence and strength of Godzilla, capturing the essence of his role in the movie.
